Short answers about Cadenza. If yours isn’t here, tell us when you join the waitlist.

Who is Cadenza for?

Independent music teachers who teach piano, guitar or voice out of their home, typically with 15 to 40 students. It’s built to be simple for a solo teacher, not for a big school.

What does Cadenza do?

It handles lesson scheduling and makeup lessons, automatic monthly invoicing through Stripe, a parent portal where parents see practice notes and pay, and a practice log that students fill in.

How much does it cost?

$19 per month for up to 20 students, or $35 per month for unlimited students.

Is there a free trial? Do I need a card?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and you don’t need to enter a card to begin.

How does invoicing work?

Cadenza sends your monthly invoices automatically through Stripe, so you don’t have to build them by hand each month.

What do parents see?

Parents use a portal where they can read your practice notes and pay.

What is the practice log?

It’s a log your students fill in between lessons, so you can see how their practice is going.

Which instruments does it work for?

Cadenza is built for piano, guitar and voice teachers. You can read how it fits each studio on the piano, guitar and voice pages. If you teach something else, join the waitlist and let us know.

Who is behind Cadenza?

Two founders, one of whom is a former piano teacher. Cadenza is currently in beta with three teachers.
